PHI stands for "Partner for Trade and Industry". Founded in 1990 by the Reichel and Scheiderer families, the company was initially a small, owner-managed accessories retailer.

The first products were developed in the basement and stored in the garage. Word quickly spread about their practical approach – the basis for long-standing partnerships in the window and door industry.

As early as the beginning of the 1990s, PHI filed its first patents, including one for the PHI weld corner connector, which is now used throughout the industry.

In 2000, a new company complex was built, housing development, toolmaking and production under one roof – thoughtfully designed along the entire value chain.

As the company grew, so did its sense of responsibility: Since 2008, social integration, training and the promotion of young talent have been firmly anchored in the company culture.

In 2018, Lisa Kraft-Scheiderer joined the management team – representing the next generation of the founding family. As a modern leader with a technical and business background, she is committed to the further development of plastics processing. Her contributions bring fresh impetus to strategy, sustainability, and a culture of innovation.

Today, PHI supplies over 1,000 customers worldwide with high-quality accessories for windows and doors – developed in Germany and manufactured responsibly. New technologies such as the laser processing center, the use of regranulate, and 100% green electricity make PHI a future-oriented partner for sustainable window technology.
